A Proud Nation: Biochemist Katalin Karikó Awarded Nobel Prize

Hungarian biochemist Katalin Karikó and US microbiologist Drew Weissman will receive this year’s Nobel Prize in Medical Sciences for their discoveries that paved the way for the development of mRNA-based vaccines, it was announced on Monday at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm.

First Private Healthcare Robot Starts to Operate

The Wáberer Medical Center is the first private institution to offer the robot-assisted surgical technique, in which the operating doctor controls the device with both hands and feet and can make incredibly precise movements.
